He served as president of the Council of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC from 2005 to 2007, and joined the College as a deputy registrar in 2009.

![]() | Dr. David Unger, Deputy RegistrarDr. David Unger received his medical degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1992 and went on to complete a master of science in bioethics from Albany Medical School in New York. He practised as a family physician in BC focusing on vulnerable populations living with HIV/AIDS and addiction. Most recently he worked at Providence Health Care as the director of ethics. ![]() | Mr. Michael Epp, Chief Operating OfficerMr. Michael Epp received his master of business administration from Simon Fraser University in 1997 while working at the BC Medical Association (now Doctors of BC). During his 15 years with the BCMA, he held various senior positions, including director, policy and planning in the last five years. Prior to joining the College as director, registration services in 2012, she held management positions in strategic planning, policy and program development at the Ministry of Finance, Workers’ Compensation Board and Legal Services Society.
