Committees
CPSBC’s board establishes standing committees made up of licensees and other professionals who review issues, and provide guidance and direction to the board and CPSBC staff, ensuring a well-balanced and equitable approach to medical regulation.
Committees of the board are comprised of members who reflect the importance of diversity, gender equality, varied professional experience, and qualification.
Licence Committee
The Licence Committee considers an applicant's knowledge, skills and abilities and grants licensure on the basis of demonstrated qualification.
The composition of the Licence Committee is set out in section 3-2 of the CPSBC Bylaws under the Health Professions and Occupations Act.

Permit Committee
The Permit Committee oversees the issuance, variance, renewal and reinstatement of health profession corporation permits including attaching limits and conditions to a health profession corporation permit.

Investigation Committee
The Investigation Committee adjudicates complaints brought to the attention of CPSBC.
