Consultation on Charging Fees to Patients practice standard now open
The College is inviting feedback from the public to help shape the Charging Fees to Patients practice standard. This standard outlines circumstances when it is appropriate for a physician to charge a fee to their patient, such as a fee for an uninsured service (i.e. not covered by MSP), or for a missed appointment. The College wants to hear about your experiences and/or any concerns you may have with this area of practice.
You can view the draft Charging Fees to Patients practice standard here, however it is not required that you read it before completing this survey.
Members of the public can participate in the survey by visiting the Consultation page.
This consultation will close on April 30, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.
