Communicating with College employees

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC is dedicated to ensuring a safe and respectful workplace for its employees. The College commits to communicating with callers in a respectful, professional and civil manner. Similarly, callers are asked to extend the same courtesy to employees.

The College expects that all individuals contacting its employees by phone or email refrain from using abusive or aggressive language. This includes threats, vexatious or harassing comments or conduct, sexual harassment, intimidation, shouting, or discriminatory statements. Behaviour of this kind may result in the College limiting or restricting future communication with a caller. The College thanks callers for their cooperation and adherence to its respectful workplace policy and practices.
