A panel of the Inquiry Committee of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC made an interim order pursuant to section 35(1) of the Health Professions Act suspending Dr. Stephen Craig Malthouse from practising medicine during the investigation of file IC 2022-0323.

College Board approves new Indigenous Cultural Safety, Cultural Humility and Anti-racism practice standard
On February 25, 2022, the College Board approved a new Indigenous Cultural Safety, Cultural Humility, and Anti-racism practice standard. This standard was developed in collaboration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), Indigenous partners, members of the public, registrants, and key health partners.
