Notification of Bylaw Amendments: Registration
On February 20, 2025, the College Board approved proposed amendments to the Bylaws under the Health Professions Act, RSBC 1996, c. 183 (HPA) specifically, the below sections related to registration.

CPSBC is seeking feedback on draft bylaws under the Health Professions and Occupations Act, which is not yet in force.
Disciplinary action re: Dr. Tapash Chakraborty
Dr. Tapash Chakraborty has been issued a disciplinary citation pursuant to section 37(4) of the Health Professions Act.
Annual licence renewal process now available
The 2025 annual licence renewal process is now available by logging in to the registrant portal. The deadline for renewal is February 1, 2025, 11:59 p.m. PST.
Important notice for applicants for registration, including 2025 graduating residents
If you plan to apply for a licence to practise independently in BC during the spring and summer of 2025, please note the following timelines are in place due to the high volume of applications expected from graduating residents.

Schedule A and Schedule C of the College Bylaws have been updated, effective January 2, 2024.
