CPSBC will be closed on Monday, October 12, 2026.

On June 30, 2026, the CPSBC board undertook a 60-day consultation period on the proposed bylaws, which concluded on August 29, 2026. At its meeting on September 24, 2026, and following its review of feedback received during the consultation period, the CPSBC board approved further amendments to the Bylaws.

This September 30 marks the sixth National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and the 13th Orange Shirt Day, which recognize the devastating legacy of residential schools and the ongoing impacts of colonization and racism on Indigenous Peoples.

The CPSBC Bylaws have been updated, effective July 6, 2026.

Internationally trained physicians from select jurisdictions may now qualify for full licensure if they meet certain requirements.

Effective November 29, 2027, CPSBC will assume regulatory responsibility for four additional professions: clinical perfusionists, medical laboratory technologists, radiation therapists, and respiratory therapists.
