In October and November, CPSBC hosted a series of webinars for registrants on the transition to the Health Professions and Occupations Act (HPOA), which will come into force on April 1, 2026.
The webinars covered changes that registrants can expect when the HPOA takes effect and details of the new Bylaws on the following topics:
- Board and governance
- Public protection
- Accreditation programs and delegation
- Quality assurance and health monitoring
Each webinar included a facilitated question and answer period. Thank you to those who attended and asked very thoughtful questions about the transition, the new legislation, and the new Bylaws.
