On February 25, 2022, the College Board approved a new Indigenous Cultural Safety, Cultural Humility, and Anti-racism practice standard. This standard was developed in collaboration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), Indigenous partners, members of the public, registrants, and key health partners.

Medical Assistance in Dying Provincial Forms Updated
On February 25, 2022, the Ministry of Health released updated provincial forms for medical assistance in dying (MAiD) in BC. As of February 28, 2022, the expectation is that patients and MAiD providers will use the updated forms for all new MAiD cases; however, providers will be allowed to continue using the older version of the forms for pre-existing cases.
