Diagnostic Accreditation Program

The Diagnostic Accreditation Program (DAP) establishes, evaluates and monitors performance standards in diagnostic health care, and administers accreditation programs covering five diagnostic services: diagnostic imaging, laboratory medicine, neurodiagnostics, pulmonary function and polysomnography. The DAP accredits diagnostic services only in the province of British Columbia.

The DAP is committed to ensuring impartiality in carrying out its accreditation activities, managing conflict of interest, and ensuring objectivity of its accreditation activities. Accordingly, the Conflict of Interest Policy applies to the activities of the DAP.

The scope of the DAP includes all public and private diagnostic facilities in British Columbia, irrespective of their funding source. To see a full list of the DAP's accreditation disciplines, click here
