Get help navigating the complaint process

Support workers are experienced and qualified workers who support individuals through the complaints process. Support workers are not care providers and do not provide medical advice or treatment.

Support workers are trained in working with individuals who have experienced sexual abuse, sexual misconduct, or discrimination.

What a support worker can do (with your consent)
  • Help you understand the information in your complaint and any CPSBC letters you receive
  • Join you at interviews, hearings, or meetings as part of the complaint process
  • Help you understand the legal parts of your complaint, including your rights and role in the process (support workers do not provide legal advice)
