Your feedback is valuable in helping shape our policies and processes, as well as fulfilling our mandate to serve and protect the public.
Stakeholder engagement and education
Engagement and educational initiatives are routinely held with the public, the profession, and key interest groups.
The timing of the engagement initiative may vary. Sometimes, the College consults stakeholders on a current practice standard or professional guideline. Other times, a new draft may be circulated for feedback.
The level of involvement and the approach taken for the engagement initiative is based on factors such as:
- urgency
- organizational readiness
- volume of people affected
- knowledge of different stakeholders on the subject matter
The ability to engage and educate at any step in the process ensures that stakeholder perspectives are sought at the right time and that the College’s expectations are regularly reinforced.
