Continuing professional development
The College fully endorses the principle that continuing professional development (CPD) is an essential component of medical professionalism.
Each year at the time of licence renewal, registrants are required to attest that they are compliant with the CPD requirements of either:
- Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (specialists), or
- College of Family Physicians of Canada (family practitioners).
The College sponsors a variety of conferences, workshops and courses to assist physicians in their practice.
Only College events are published and promoted on this website
While there are many valuable CPD opportunities, only events that are directly sponsored by the College are published and promoted on this website.
