Visiting BC

Physicians and surgeons in training and those licensed to practice independently outside of British Columbia may wish to visit BC temporarily for a clinical or educational experience. They will require a licence from the College before they commence any visit that involves patients.

Types of registration

There are a number of available classes of registration for physicians who want to temporarily practise in BC. The following classes require a licence from the College before they commence any visit that involves patients, regardless if they are going to provide direct care.
